There’s a particular kind of sky that happens when it’s still raining, but the light has already decided to return.

The moonstone at the top reminded me of single drops of rain, suspended above a second moonstone that holds something unexpected. Turn it toward the light, and a beautiful rainbow flash appears.

Rain above. Color below.

We often think beautiful things arrive only after everything difficult has passed. After life settles down. After we’ve figured it all out. But sometimes, a rainbow appears while the rain is still falling.

After the Rain represents that in-between place. Everything may not be resolved, but something beautiful has already begun making its way in.

You don’t need a perfectly clear sky to know the weather is changing. Sometimes the first sign is simply color where there wasn’t any before.
