Labradorite + Sterling Silver

Parallel was created around the idea that two things can exist side by side without needing to be the same. Each piece of labradorite carries its own fractures, markings, and flashes of color. They’re different, but they move together.

There’s something human in that. We can grow beside someone, love beside them, or simply move through life alongside them without having to follow the exact same path. One person’s light doesn’t take away from another’s.

This piece is also part of a new path for me as I begin learning silversmithing and working with sterling silver in ways I haven’t before. The settings were shaped and formed around each stone by hand, leaving the little variations that come with creating something individually rather than perfectly manufactured.

Parallel is about moving alongside, not becoming alike. Two paths. Two different lights. Still going in the same direction.
