Petals of Time Pendant

There’s something about an old rose garden. The way one rose can be in full bloom while another is only beginning to open. Neither is ahead of the other. They simply belong to different moments in the same garden.

Carved into luminous mother of pearl, two roses bloom among smaller buds and winding leaves. Above them rests a tiny mother-of-pearl flower, almost as though it has fallen from somewhere beyond the frame.

I love the thought of these flowers existing together, each at a different point in its life. Because time doesn’t take beauty away from everything it touches. Sometimes, it gives things a depth they couldn’t have had before.
